Description
Your sightseeing cruise begins at Admiral River Cruises (Budapest Jane Haining rakpart Dock 3/a, 1051), where you’ll board the boat for the hour-long cruise. An audio guide is available onboard, in both English and German. There is one stopover during the cruise, and you can get off to see the sights of the city, taking your time, your ticket is valid for 1 hour. You’ll pass by the imposing building of the Parliament as you cruise along the Danube River, and you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Margaret Island as well. See the attractions of Castle District, including the Royal Castle, the Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion. On Gellért Hill you’ll see the Liberty Monument and the Citadel. The tour continues in a southerly direction, and you’ll have views of the bridges of Budapest, the National Theater, and the Palace of Arts. On the return cruise, you’ll see the universities of Budapest and the Central Market Hall, before the tour ends back at Vigadó Square, in the city center.
